Dalaman and its neighbouring resorts of Icmeler and Marmaris offer around 320 days of sunshine every year.
The climate in Dalaman is mild all year round, reaching as much as 35C during the summer months.
From April to October the temperature in Dalaman ranges from 20C to 35C, with July and August supplying the hottest temperatures of the year. There is virtually no rainfall from June until September when you can be guaranteed around 10 hours sunshine per day. Some may find the temperature in August got, but cooling breezes from the Mediterranean Sea can help take the edge off the heat.
Temperatures in April are around 20C which make it the ideal time for an Easter break.
From December to February the temperature stays at around 17C with around five hours of sunshine per day but expect the odd rainy day which you can use to full effect and do some shopping or explore this very attractive part of Turkey.
Finally if you are thinking of hiring a car to get around and explore places off the tourist track then it is worth considering booking one with air conditioning - especially during the summer months.
