Dalaman Airport Live Flight Arrivals
Arrivals at Dalaman Airport
In the 95,000 m2 international arrivals terminal at Dalaman Airport there are 22 escalators and 21 lifts in the 4 level terminal building. The basement and Level 1 are used for arriving passengers and Levels 2 and 3 are for departing passengers.
There are 20 passport control counters with advanced passport reading technology so that passengers can pass quickly through. If you are arriving from a country which requires a visa, there are 12 visa counters just before passport control.
When you reach the baggage hall there are 6 luggage carousels, a duty free shop, cafe and buffet. Greeting/information counters are manned by tour operators and travel agents and you will also see the car hire desks situated there.
The baggage system at Dalaman International Terminal is one of the most advanced in the world currently. Baggage Handling and Baggage Separation systems minimise the risks of mechanical failure and prevent luggage being sent to the wrong locations or not being loaded on to the plane. There are trolleys available in the arrivals hall for a charge of one euro which is refunded on its return.
The new terminal building has toilets for wheelchair users, lifts, ramps and escalators that help facilitate access for disabled people. The airport land services officers assist disabled passengers from the arrival of the plane up to the meeting/greeting counters in the arrivals hall.
Once you’re through Immigration, Baggage and Customs at Dalaman Airport you’ve got a number of choices to help get you to your final destination:
- You can hire a car from one of the car hire desks in the arrivals hall
- Pre-book a private transfer or seat on a private shuttle bus
- There are taxi ranks outside the terminal
